Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality tutoring services to all students who think it may benefit them. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our tutors, but our other students as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed or late sessions.

 

1. Session Cancellation

 

When you book a session, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other students. In order to be respectful of your fellow students, please be sure to cancel a session in a timely manner.

 

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Tutoring sessions are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another student to access that session time.

 

 

2. How to Cancel Your Session / Refund

 

If you’ve already paid and you need to cancel your appointment, please click the button here on the app in order to cancel your session. It can be accessed by click on the session you want to cancel, and then clicking the “Cancel Session” button highlighted below.

 

 

We will refund you the full amount you paid minus a 3.5% service charge to cover any fees associated with receiving payments to our payment accounts.

 

 

3. Late Cancellations/No-Shows


A cancellation is considered late when the session is canceled less than 2 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a student misses an appointment without canceling. In either case, we expect the student or tutor of the session to inform us. We will charge the student 50% of the session cost, for a missed appointment fee. We will then refund the student the remainder of what they paid for the session. This missed appointment fee is primarily for the tutor as they would have spent time spent on and preparing for a session that ended up being cancelled.
